Stewardship Moment
Stewardship in the New Testa- ment Church: The best basis for Christian giving: joy in the won- drous Gospel of Gods love. The irst Christians discovered that Christ reconciled the world unto Himself. They were bursting with joy to share the Good News. They gave their money, but first they gave themselves. God so loved that He gave. The Christian so loves that he or she gives. Loving and giving - this is what stewardship is all about. Courtesy of Parish Publications Stewardship" newsletter
Mass Meditation
Sunday, July 4 (14th Sunday Ordinary): During this time, we celebrate the independence of our country. We would do well to echo the psalmist, saying, Our eyes are ixed on the Lord, pleading for His mercy. May we always recognize and use wisely the gifts of freedom and abundance He has showered upon us. Courtesy of Sharon Hueckel
Life Moment
Pray: That Church leaders may have the courage to stand firm in the teachings of Christ and preach the true freedom that He brings. Courtesy of www.priestsforlife.org
